*Last Updated: [[2025-05-19|May 19, 2025]]* This page is inspired by [Derek Sivers'](https://sivers.org/) [nownownow.com](https://nownownow.about) project - a simple way to share what I'm focused on at this point in my life. > [!update] Quick Updates > - **[[2025-03-23|Mar 23, '25]]:** Started playing Assassin's Creed Shadows. I've been waiting for this game for a long while. Got into the series after playing AC Valhalla, then went on to play both AC Odyssey and AC Origins. Loved all 3 of them. Right now, I am already past 20 hours of gameplay with AC Shadows. > - **[[2025-03-23|Mar 23, '25]]:** We welcomed our new Yellow Labrador puppy [[Mishti]] into our home! She's 8 weeks old and brings so much joy. > - **[[2025-03-19|Mar 19, '25]]:** Our beloved [[Sugar]] passed away peacefully at 11.5 years old. It was an incredibly difficult decision, but the right one to end her suffering from health complications. > - **[[2025-02-20|Feb 20, '25]]:** Started reading the book [[BrainChains]] > - **[[2025-02-17|Feb 17, '25]]:** > - Stopped playing Spider-Man 2 after about 2 hours of gameplay. It will need a bunch of more hotfixes before it's enjoyable on the Steam Deck. Until then, I started playing the newly released Civilization VII on macOS. The new interface is ass, but otherwise I am loving it! > - Started working on a new work project where we are exploring to use AI to analyze building data to predict maintenance issues before they occur, potentially reducing costs for property managers and improving tenant satisfaction. > - **[[2025-01-30|Jan 30, '25]]**: Started playing [Spider-Man 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2651280/Marvels_SpiderMan_2/) on the [[Uses#Gaming|Steam Deck OLED]]. I am excited about the game but the performance was quite crappy and buggy. Need to wait for some bug fixes before I can get back to it. # Digital Garden Revival Over the past couple of weeks, I've been deeply focused on reviving my [[Harvesting Ideas with Digital Gardens|Digital Garden]] in [[Obsidian]]. After letting it lie fallow for a while, I discovered my notes had become quite unstructured. Additionally, I had a backlog of notes from my Notion days that needed proper integration - they'd been sitting untouched for over 2 years. The messiness had reached a point where I dreaded opening my vault. However, I'm happy to report that after two weeks of dedicated organization and cleanup, my digital garden is flourishing again. This aligns well with my broader goal of [[Building a Second Brain]] and maintaining a more structured approach to personal knowledge management. # Exploring AI-Assisted Development Since November, I've been experimenting with using Large Language Models (LLMs) for software development. While I'm not primarily a programmer, my role as a [[Product Manager]] gives me a solid understanding of systems and algorithms. I've been using Cursor IDE's LLM capabilities to build proof-of-concepts for various product ideas. This exploration bridges the gap between my product vision and technical implementation abilities, allowing me to prototype ideas that previously remained theoretical. You can learn more about my approach to product development on my [[Homepage|personal website]]. # Expanding Into Personal Automation Services Inspired by my passion for workflow efficiency and helping others save time, I now offer **[[Buy Automation Service|personal automation services]]** as a side project. If you want to automate repetitive tasks—whether it’s organizing files with Hazel, building custom Apple Shortcuts, or connecting productivity tools like Obsidian and Todoist—I can create a solution for you. # Life Update: Saying Goodbye and New Beginnings After months of health challenges, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to [[Sugar]], my beloved Labrador who was 11.5 years old. She passed peacefully on [[2025-03-19|March 19, 2025]]. As anyone who's had a senior pet knows, it was incredibly difficult watching her struggle with mobility issues and complications from a pituitary tumor in her final months. Just a few days later, on [[2025-03-23|March 23, 2025]], we welcomed [[Mishti]], an 8-week-old Yellow Labrador puppy into our home. While no dog could ever replace Sugar, Mishti (whose name means "sweet" in Bengali) brings new joy and energy into our lives. The name complements Sugar's memory and carries special meaning for us. This transition has been emotional - navigating grief while embracing the new adventures of puppyhood. We're grateful for the nearly 12 years Sugar gave us and looking forward to new memories with Mishti.
